Editorial policy
Bright Style Journal aims to make style subjects clear, fair and enjoyable to read. Our editorial choices favour useful explanation over trend-chasing or pressure to buy.
Accuracy and clarity
We check names, terminology and factual claims before publication, and distinguish description from opinion. When a topic has more than one interpretation, we make room for that nuance rather than presenting taste as a universal rule. Some illustrations may be AI-generated; when they are, they are identified as such and are not presented as documentary photographs.
Independence and partnerships
Editorial decisions are made separately from commercial arrangements. Any sponsored or partner material is clearly labelled so readers can tell what it is. A collaboration does not guarantee favourable coverage, and we do not disguise promotional writing as independent editorial.
Corrections
If a reader spots an error, they can contact us with the article subject and the detail in question. We review correction requests and amend material when warranted; where a substantive change affects the meaning, we make the correction clear to readers.
